African designers have been getting a lot of attention lately and it’s no surprise.
African print has vibrant colors and there’s a rich heritage of the continent in each thread.

The cultural fabrics have garnered the attention of some of the biggest players in the
industry and many Hollywood stars have embraced its iconic designs.

It is most certainly African’s time to shine. Here are some of our favorite queens (and
king) slaying in contemporary African fashion. And we love them for it:

Actress, Thandie Newton wears statement jumpsuit by Jewel by Lisa Folawiyo

Alicia Keys is killing it in a plunging Christie Brown Fringe Necklace

Kenyan Actress Nyongo wears Cameroonian brand Kibonen for the premier of Queen of Katwe
